Rose speaks regularly about sanitation to a variety of audiences, including the University of Pennsylvania; Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies; the National Health Service; CLSA Investors’ Forum; Japan Society of New York; North East Ohio Regional Sewer District; and Benetton. She lectures at global conferences such as World Water Week and World Water Forum and appears frequently as a commentator on radio and television channels worldwide, including BBC Radio 4, PBS Frontline, NPR, SVT (Sweden) and many others.

Talk topics can include sustainability and sewers; toilet anthropology, and cultural quirks (why bathroom wallpaper changes colour; why Indian brides give toilet seats in their dowries); water politics; the past, present and future of sanitation (from Roman public latrines to Japanese robo-toilets); the art of behaviour change; and the huge public health crisis caused by diarrhoea, which kills more children than HIV/AIDS, malaria and TB combined.

Rose’s speaking engagements are handled by Bethany Dick at William Morris Endeavor, New York. Please email Bethany for further information, or call her on +1 212 903 1370.
